Accessibility statement

Que Pasa Mexican Kitchen & Tequila wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, voice control or screen magnification.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard used for websites in the United States.

What we have done

On October 2, 2026 every page of this site was checked with an automated accessibility checker, by using it with a keyboard alone, and by measuring the contrast of its text. What we found was fixed:

  • Every link, button and section can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline.
  • Pages are built for screen readers: headings, landmarks, descriptions of images and labelled controls.
  • Text has enough contrast against its background.
  • Anything that moves on its own, such as slideshows and moving strips, has a button to pause it.
  • Pages can be zoomed to 200% and read on a small phone screen without scrolling sideways.
  • An accessibility toolbar, the round button at the bottom of the screen, lets you make text bigger, raise the contrast, stop animations, have the page read aloud and more.

Known limitations

  • Our printable menu is a PDF file. It contains real text, but it is not marked up for screen readers, so it may not read in the right order. If you need the menu in another way, please call us and we will help.
  • Online ordering opens a website run by another company, and we do not control how accessible it is. If it does not work for you, please call us and order by phone.
